Tesla Powerwall 3 Installer Newcastle
Power your home day and night, eliminate peak electricity rates, and enjoy seamless blackout protection with the Tesla Powerwall 3 — Tesla’s most advanced home battery system yet.
At Hunter Solar Solutions, our certified in-house team supplies and installs the Tesla Powerwall 3 across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, the Hunter Valley, and Port Stephens.
Engineered with an integrated solar inverter, industry-leading continuous power output, and weather-resistant technology, the Powerwall 3 is the ultimate energy solution for local homes and businesses.
Why Tesla Powerwall 3 is Built for Hunter Homes
From intense summer heatwaves in the Valley to severe coastal storms along Lake Macquarie and Newcastle, the local grid faces increasing pressure. The Tesla Powerwall 3 provides maximum energy independence and peace of mind no matter what the weather throws at us.
-
Massive Continuous Power (11kW AC): Power your entire home — including ducted air conditioning, heat pumps, EV chargers, and pool pumps, without tripping the battery during peak evening usage.
-
All-in-One Integrated Solar Inverter: Features an inbuilt 10kW–11kW solar inverter with multiple MPPT inputs, removing the need for a separate rooftop solar inverter on new installations.
-
13.5 kWh Usable Capacity: Store plenty of low-cost or free daytime solar energy to power your home through the evening when utility rates spike.
-
Instant Blackout Backup: When the grid goes down, Powerwall 3 detects the outage in milliseconds and keeps your lights, refrigeration, and essential appliances running without interruption.
-
Storm Watch Protection: Connects directly to weather forecasts. When severe storms threaten the Hunter region, Powerwall 3 automatically charges to 100% capacity in preparation.

New Solar Setup vs. Retrofitting Your System
Whether you are starting from scratch or adding storage to an established solar setup, the Powerwall 3 offers total flexibility:
1. Installing a Brand New Solar & Battery System
The Powerwall 3 acts as both your battery and solar inverter. Its built-in high-efficiency solar inverter connects directly to your panels (DC-coupled), reducing equipment on your walls, lowering installation complexity, and delivering maximum system efficiency.
2. Adding Powerwall 3 to Existing Solar Panels
Already have solar installed on your roof? No problem. The Tesla Powerwall 3 can be AC-coupled to integrate with existing solar systems (whether you run string inverters or microinverters). If your old string inverter is aging, we can also bypass it completely and run your existing panels directly into the Powerwall 3’s integrated solar inverter.
